Terms of Service for Pi Marketplace

Welcome to Flea Mart ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Flea Mart application (the "App") and related marketplace services. By accessing or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using Flea Mart, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Flea Mart.
- You must have a valid Pi Network account to access payment features.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
3. Account Registration and Security
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and Pi Network credentials.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Marketplace Services
4.1 General Marketplace
- Flea Mart provides a platform for users to buy and sell goods.
- We facilitate transactions but are not a party to any sale agreement between buyers and sellers.
- All transactions are conducted between users; we do not own, sell, or purchase any items.
4.2 Seller Responsibilities
- Provide accurate descriptions, photos, and pricing for all listed items.
- Only list items you legally own and have the right to sell.
- Respond promptly to buyer inquiries and complete transactions in good faith.
- Ship items promptly and provide tracking information when available.
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding the sale of your items.
4.3 Buyer Responsibilities
- Review item descriptions and seller information carefully before purchasing.
- Communicate respectfully with sellers and ask questions before buying.
- Complete payments promptly using the Pi Network integration.
- Confirm receipt of items and release escrow payments when satisfied.
5. Pi Network Integration and Payments
5.1 Pi Network Authentication
- Payment features require authentication through the Pi Network.
- You must comply with Pi Network's terms of service and policies.
- We are not responsible for Pi Network service availability or issues.
5.2 Escrow Payment System
- All payments are processed through our secure escrow system.
- Funds are held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt of the item.
- Buyers have a reasonable time period to inspect items and confirm delivery.
- Sellers receive payment only after successful delivery confirmation.
5.3 Transaction Fees
- We may charge transaction fees for completed sales.
- All fees will be clearly disclosed before transaction completion.
- Fees are non-refundable except in cases of platform error.
6. Prohibited Items and Conduct
6.1 Prohibited Items
You may not list or sell:
- Illegal items or items that violate local, state, or federal laws
- Stolen goods or items obtained through illegal means
- Counterfeit, replica, or unauthorized items
- Weapons, explosives, or dangerous materials
- Drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
- Adult content or services
- Items that infringe on intellectual property rights
6.2 Prohibited Conduct
- Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward other users
- Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
- Spam, unsolicited communications, or promotional content
- Attempting to circumvent our payment or escrow systems
- Creating multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or reviews
- Interfering with the App's functionality or security
7. Dispute Resolution
- We encourage users to resolve disputes directly through our messaging system.
- For unresolved disputes, we may provide mediation services at our discretion.
- In cases of fraud or policy violations, we may take appropriate action including account suspension.
- Escrow funds may be released based on evidence provided by both parties.
8. Intellectual Property
- Flea Mart and its content are protected by intellectual property laws.
- You retain ownership of content you post, but grant us a license to use it for platform operations.
- You may not use our trademarks, logos, or copyrighted content without permission.
- We respect intellectual property rights and will respond to valid DMCA notices.
9. Privacy and Data

10. Disclaimers and Limitations
10.1 Service Availability
- We strive to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
- We may suspend services for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
- We are not liable for losses due to service interruptions.
10.2 User Content and Transactions
- We do not verify the accuracy of user listings or guarantee item quality.
- Users are responsible for their own transactions and interactions.
- We are not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers.
10.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLEA MART SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE USE OF OUR SERVICES.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flea Mart, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.
12. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms.
- Upon termination, your access to the App will cease, but these Terms will continue to apply to past activities.
- We will handle any pending transactions according to our escrow policies.
